MEET THE FOUNDER

Raised by a single mother, Natalie Bonner lost her father at the tender age of 6. Although she excelled as a student and was involved in many extra curricular activities throughout her schooling, she became pregnant after graduating high school. She aspired to further her education, but how could she accomplish this goal as a teen aged mother?

Despite being pregnant, Natalie decided that it was imperative to attend college to provide a foundation for her and her child. After the birth of her daughter, Natalie attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL and earned her Bachelor's degree in Economics. While in college, she was the co-founder of two registered student organizations and discovered her passion to help people. Natalie also became a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority in 2005.

After graduating, she entered into financial services to educate and empower the disenfranchised. By working with these individuals, she felt compelled to do more in the community. Her passion was heightened when she suffered the loss of her daughter's father in 2011, making her a single mother. Equipped with years of experience dealing with several impoverished communities in Missouri and Illinois and understanding the struggle, Natalie founded Talented Tenth Social Services, Inc. in 2015.

Natalie intends to reach and assist as many people as possible to provide them with the tools to be successful; mind, body and soul.
